Bicicas has added 4 new electric bicycles to its service, making access easier for the users for whom these vehicles are intended.
With this expansion, we aim to encourage the use of bicycles as a sustainable urban mobility option among older people in our city.
Who can use the electric bicycles?
Users who meet at least one of the following conditions can access the electric bicycles:
• Be 55 years old or older.
• Have a reduced mobility rating of at least 7 points.
How can I request access?
You only need to prove your eligibility in one of the following ways:
• Send your documentation to bicicas@bicicas.es, requesting access to this service.
• Visit our office at Polígono Estadio, Nave 18, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A valid document proving the user’s age must be provided (ID card, NIE or Passport).
In cases of reduced mobility, a disability assessment certificate must also be provided.
Where can I find them?
Electric bicycles operate in the same way as conventional bicycles and are subject to the same terms of use. You can check their availability through the Bicicas App map or at bicicas.es.
Stations with an electric bicycle available will appear in blue on the map.
