    Benefits of using Bicicas

    • 64 stations between Castelló and the Grau

    Key service rules to remember

On this World Bicycle Day, we would like to remind users of some basic rules to ensure the service works smoothly for everyone:

    1. Always check the bike is properly docked
Before leaving the station, make sure the bike is securely locked. The easiest way is to gently pull the seat to confirm it cannot be removed.
    2. Make sure the ride has ended
After returning the bike, check the app to confirm the trip has been properly closed. If there is any issue, contact Bicicas as soon as possible.
    3. Respect the maximum rental time
Each ride has a maximum duration of 60 minutes. If you need more time, return the bike and start a new rental.
    4. Report any issues
If you notice a mechanical problem, fall, accident, or any irregularity, inform customer service.
    5. Ride responsibly
Follow traffic rules, stay alert to pedestrians and vehicles, and ride safely.

    A commitment to sustainable mobility

At Bicicas, we continue working to provide an increasingly efficient, accessible, and sustainable service.

This World Bicycle Day, we encourage you to leave your car at home, hop on a Bicicas bike, and discover a healthier and more sustainable way to move around Castelló.

    Bicicas, your best route.

This training is exclusively aimed at young people over 15 and under 18 years old, with the goal of ensuring responsible, safe, and appropriate use of the city’s public bicycle system.

It is also reminded that minors cannot use accounts or subscriptions registered under the name of parents, relatives, or third parties. Each user must have a personal account linked to their own data.

A commitment to safety and responsible mobility

The Road Safety Course is part of Bicicas’ commitment to sustainable mobility and road safety in Castellón.

Through this in-person training, developed in collaboration with the Castellón Local Police, young people acquire fundamental knowledge about:

    • Basic traffic regulations
    • Proper use of bicycles on urban roads
    • Signage and right of way
    • Road safety and accident prevention
    • Responsible coexistence between bicycles, pedestrians, and vehicles

The objective is to promote responsible habits from an early age and provide new users with the tools needed to move safely around the city.

    Mandatory training before account activation

Before being able to use the service, authorized minors must complete the Road Safety Course.

Once the training is completed, the user’s personal account will be activated.

    Courses organized periodically

Training sessions are organized periodically in collaboration with the Local Police and the Castellón City Council, depending on availability and the number of registered users.

Bicicas will contact registered individuals directly when a new session becomes available.

    Information and registration

Interested individuals can request more information or register for the Road Safety Course through the usual Bicicas customer service channels.

Bicicas thanks families and users for their cooperation in promoting safer, more responsible, and sustainable mobility in Castellón.
